Re: Summary perhaps?
That is your claim. You have yet to show your reasoning, nor have you been able to refute the logic and reasoning of the opposite opinion.
Do you have anything other than assertions?

And how is the judgement value of socieity, where rapists go to prison, not a reprisal?
How is the insticutual feeling of guilt and remorse not a reprisal?

Is THAT why you believe.. fear of death.
Death will come no matter what. It is just that since the atheist beleives there is nothing beyond, then you might as well make the
best of the time you have.
I am an atheist. I do not fear death at all. I do not seek death, because I enjoy life.
Your entire logic is based on false assumptions.

Re: Summary perhaps?
You have to demonstrate your first assumption..
that is
1) Atheism logically leads to immorality.

Jason, if you can't logically explain why god exists, how can you be a theist?

So if sometime down the road Jesus was shown to have never existed, THEN you'd go around drugging and raping women?
quote:
If I could take any woman I wanted, and be certain of no reprisals, yes, I would.
Don't lie to yourself.......because you would too. It's nature.
Then you are a sociopath in need of serious monitoring and therapy.

You've never been on a desert island where there's a hot nun who's in a coma........and she's the only woman you'll ever see again.......and they only way you'll ever get layed again is by taking advantage of her. I don't know how long ANY man could hold out under those circumstances.......and I certainly don't see a reason why an atheist should even try.
Um, because she's a nun in a coma, and it would be wrong to rape her.
The athiest men that I know would consider it sick and perverse and evil to do what you have obviously spent a lot of time fantasizing about.

From Rusty's posts on this thread I would conclude that he is a psychopathic trekkie.
His idea of logic seems firmly based on the Spock character. That this might differ from the formal logic that is held to be "absolute" does not seem to have occurred to him.

Who says we hold any kind of logic as 'absolute' anyway?
