Thanks for the suggestion but that isn't really where I was heading.
I don't really see it as strictly a science issue. It's as much a political issue as a science issue in my mind. I don't think a reasonable person, for example, would say science per se or the rules of science rules out such possibilities, whether alien craft, Russian spy satellite, or whatever...but the story is more than that even if that entails science.
The fact John Podesta has taken up it's cause and that the government denies the army being there when practically a whole town and some from other towns saw the army there is pretty interesting on it's own.
So imho, this belongs in the Coffee House. About the only area of scientific discussion I can think of would entail the forensic analysis of researchers today in determining the location of the crash site due to the disturbed soil from the cover-up of the incident when they brought different dirt in, and the data used to rule out the Russian spy satellite that fell in Canada that day.
