A Word from Board Administration about this Thread
Janus20, aka Alan Cresswell, is so obviously a loon and provides so much entertainment value that there will be little effort from moderators at reining in his behavior. Anyone who becomes a target and takes it seriously should question their own sanity, but in any case don't come crying to board administration.

Re: A Word from Board Administration about this Thread
I remember my old password now but.........forum campers appear to be horrified that you have withdrawn your protection. They no longer wish to talk and are climbing apple trees elsewhere.
I will try to rescue the situation for you.
You might be aware that Physicists have stated that a bumblebee cannot fly because it does not have the muscular power for lift off.
I know that the creature operates a 'free lunch'.
It rides the CENTRIFUGAL FORCE of spinning spheres of air beneath its alternating twin wing action. The wings create forward, backward or a hover ACTION and the bee mass rides the larger CF REACTION.
If you can give me a typical bee mass, wing beat rate and wing span.
I will send you the hover force value in Newtons.
If I Google the data you will accuse me of rigging the calcs and it would appear to justify your proclamation of my loonyShipness.

Re: A Word from Board Administration about this Thread
Heh, I might not be entirely sane in posting here. But, I'm not climbing any apple trees. I just missed your return as I was away at a conference, and have been busy writing papers that are accepted in scientific journals. If I manage to find a bit of spare time in the next week or so, I may have a look at your thinned down site and see if it takes account of the assorted criticisms of the old one that were posted here.
I thought the rules had already been relaxed on this thread anyway?
Alan Cresswell (the not-quite-so-loony one)

deep apologies
opps....for shame.. I've just checked out the start of the thread and seen my mistake - deep deep apologies.
It's sad to say, however, that it's so normal to see people argue with themselves on the net - that I make that assumption in error.
Again deep apologies.
