aw, com'on man, don't do this to us.

And here I was thinking you were on our side.
(though, Faith would love that)
abe:and I still can't add my avatar. or rather, it doesn't show when I rollover my location, but i put the picture in. (i am not a member there, perhaps that has something to do with it?)

I wish I had caught my 1000th post. I knew I was close, but damnit, I like celebration. So this one will be my one-thousandth post, even though it's not--close, but not.
and as WK said, what a waste of the thousandth post.

I can see you and other people just fine. Must be your server or something. Don't know.

You can use Map Options to enter yourself, but it's not necessary. The first time you visit the map it brings up an empty box on the map with fields for you to fill in. It only has three fields, though: Name, Avatar and Location. You do need to go to Map Options to enter more detailed info, such as creationist/evolutionist.

Images are frequently cached by browsers and webportals, and it is likely that Kuresu has encountered a caching issue.

As you can see, the one creationist on there is hopelessly surrounded
She wouldn't be if I could insert my name.

never took you for an "evilutionist", Ian.
(go to the map options, a tab underneath the map, and you can change your affiliation)
(otherwise, your 'sis' with the possessed computer truly is alone on that map)

Hey Percy, what do you think of making this mapping thing more permanent than a coffee house temporary just for fun thing?

For those of you who do not upload an avatar for your pin, I am assuming you are Mr. X.
Furthermore, I have removed and will continue to remove all anonymous pins.
Added by edit.
I have also added a couple more choices: both (for people with dual personality) and neither (for those who are sadists).
For example, Mike the Wiz thinks he's both evo and creo, so he now has a white pin.

You may want to include other catagories such as those who believe in a higher power and do not have a conflict with the concept of evolution.
Perhaps call us Hevolutionists or HEVO's

No, you didn't. You didn't choose a pin, so you appeared to be an evilutionist. I changed it for you.

Yes, it did. See?

This is an EvC map, not TvA map.

Too many Mr. X's on the map.
I still have not discovered the magic incantation needed to add an avatar.

An avatar makes your box looks better, more lively, and... just better. What's a pin without pictures?
Added by edit.
Oh, sorry, I thought you meant the necessity of an avatar not the how.
Under the map, there are two tabs. The one on the right is "map options". Click on that. After, on the left there are various choices. Click on either "add yourself" or "view all pins", find yourself, and edit. To add an avatar, press on "browes" to add an avatar and find the picture on your computer. The picture may be big, small, fat, or thin. Doesn't matter.
