As strong as four horses!
Louis Cyr was indeed a strong man -- an uncommingly strong man, but the reality was, he was not nearly as strong as even one horse, let alone two or four.
What they don't tell you is that all four horses were pulling in opposite directions to one another.

Humans capability of killing any land mammal with their bare hands is possible, but things like elephant, hippo, rhino and bear would defntly have to be chained up first.
Since its possible for someone to train to poke there fingers through coconuts there should be no reason why they couldnt penetrate a vunerable skin spot of a large mammal.
Also its said to take 800ibs pressure to break coconut some martial artis can break up to 60 coconuts, im sure no mammal wouldnt be atleast fealing something after 60 shots of 800 pounds to a vunerable area.

Me thinks the last one finger zen master died a few years back, but maybe the two finger zen masters could do it to.
But humans evolved a different way of killing its pray firstly teamwork, secondly weapons, thirdly runing the animal down do to our stamina usually besting any animal.
Edited by frako, : No reason given.

yes a gorilla is as strong as 8 body builders, Paul an Calene got Strongman in the lion pen.they showed him what to do an how to take on the Lion.the Lion rushed at him an Strongman sidestep the Lion an grab him by his tail an fling the lion way across. If taught how to fight, the gorilla will win easy. Strongman weigh 466 lbs, the lion weigh 550 lbs,all the lions stay away from Strongman. Calene the only woman to ever ride on the back of a gorilla, Strongman would not let anyone else on his back !Strongman picked up my 2500 4x4
Chevy HD on his back with hands an feet

who is Strongman?
seems you have studied this stuff. Are you interested in training these animals or are you just out for the thrill of the fight? You Tube has lots of crazy videos...but behind the glory is a lot of hard work.
Welcome to EvC, by the way!

Re: who is Strongman?
was a gorillia at the Albuquerque zoo, he passed away in 2011, no I am not out for the fight, Calene taught him how to hand sign and a chimp helped that could sign,a man had him when he was a baby, the man dumped him out after a few years at the zoo, plus I have seen reports on the news about gorillas an what they can do,just be glad they are easy going animals,we as people got big brains

Re: Black Bears
Lets not forget that power doesn't indicate a winner in a fight. Technique is more of a factor. I'd imagine a lion could defeat a much larger bear due to manuerverability and quickness. Early UFC is a good example where Royce Gracie defeated much larger opponents some more than twice his size.

Unfortunately, this has been tested: the bear wins every time.
The lion has a comparatively fragile skull, which the bear can crush with a single swipe of its paw.

CRYSTALS!!
