Did anyone else see the episode of South Park last night? It is a two part episode but I guessing the gist of how it works out by seeing the first half is that Dawkins and Mrs. Garrison work together to rid the world of religion which drives humanity into an age of warring atheistic factions.
They have beat Christianity to death.
They have covered Islam.
They quite hilariously poked fun at Mormonism and Scientology.
Now they have taken care of Atheism?
What is left for them to make fun of?

They could always make fun of themselves. People seem to be drawn towards self-deprecating humor.

Re: South Park
Nope. They took care of that too this season with an episode making fun of degrading and senseless cartoons.

They did hit World of Warcraft, too, so as far as lampooing everything I care about, they've just about covered all the bases.

Have they taken on creationism? Or is that just too easy a target?

Re: South Park
The writers of South Park have also made fun of themselves by sneaking the following line into the anti-Family Guy episode:
"At least it doesn't get all preachy and up its own ass with messages, you know."

Don't worry. There's a suitable subject for mockery born every minute.

i thought they went a little easy on dawkins. he's a bit more, well, militant (especially lately) than they made him out to be.
but the switch-over of mr(s). garrison's idiotic fundamentalist militant stance was amusing.

How funny - only yesterday my daughter said "when are they going to take the micky out of atheists?" - we were taking about how people might be offended by humour focusing on religion and culture. Her "they" referred to comedy in general, but South Park is the perfect example, being pioneers of excellent offensive humour. I hope I can see this episode soon! My response was "I guess atheism doesn't have so much to poke fun at" - it seems I was extremely wrong! I won't be recommending south park to her of course, she's probably a bit too young yet.

They still have to do hinduism, toaism, wicca, and a few others.

I like how they stay on top of current events. They'll always have new stuff to make fun of.
Did you see the Steve Irwin costume at Satan's Halloween party?

I wouldn't recommend this episode to anyone under the age of 21. There are some parts of that are quite revolting.
Comedy Central puts a lot of their shows up on iTunes. You may be able to get it there for a few bucks.
