What will be more populated, Heaven or Hell?
It is said that God could not keep evil out of Heaven. Satan was born there before the creation of the Garden of Eden and was moved there by God as a talking snake.
Evil then followed Adam and Eve and their descendents up to the genocidal flood of God.
The eight survivors of this attempted genocide then somehow sneaked evil back into the world where it happily lives right to this day.
It is unclear why God keeps failing to remove the evil that He brought with Him from Heaven.
Regardless of this question, it looks like Hell is presently quite largely populated as compared to Heaven.
At end time, God will apparently reap the good and cast the evil ones into Hell.
If the majority of us have not yet repented and this would include all other religions that do not follow Jesus, then the numbers heading for Hell will again exceed those going to Heaven.
It seems strange to me that God would be in a small Heaven and that Satan would be master of so many of God’s souls.
To me this makes God look like His philosophy is inferior to Satan’s, if the number of souls in hand is any indication of success that is.
Does any one else think this is a strange outcome to life here or am I reading things wrong?
I end with Satan many and God few. Is this accurate?
Regards
DL

What will be more populated, Heaven or Hell?
I would think that a benevolent god would let more people in heaven than hell, however, as we read in Mattew 7:13-14...
quote:
13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
So it looks like your right in that hell will be more populated.

It is said that God could not keep evil out of Heaven. Satan was born there before the creation of the Garden of Eden and was moved there by God as a talking snake.
Where does it say that? or are you just saying that people have said that?

Genesis is clear on the talking snake. Revelation names it as Satan.
Who or what else could it have been.
Any idea as to why God would bring evil with him if we were not to have it to learn from?

Oh, I don't know, a METAPHOR, perhaps?
I'll let you in on a little secret: There really wasn't a snake that could talk slithering around in an actual graden called Eden.
Any idea as to why God would bring evil with him if we were not to have it to learn from?
Maybe god didn't bring it with him...
Maybe evil doesn't exist and is simply a lack of good...
I don't know, though.

Your right that the tree of knowledge of good and evil as well as the snake are all metaphors.
I cannot say it is lack of good.
I see all the goods and evils lined up on a graph.
Our work, from god’s point of view would be to line them all up properly.
This is when the fun and debates start. Especially when it involves things like women’s rights and gays.
That sort of thing.

What kind of plot? Column, line, pie or scatter?
Our work, from god’s point of view would be to line them all up properly.
Like how?
This is when the fun and debates start.

i don't believe, that knowing who will go to hell or heaven or the amounts of them, can be judged by no one but God.
however, by my observations, and by this verse of the bible:acts 17:11,
(that to continually search for the truth)
i have come to understand Satan (as i can understand it)relative to God in this way:
God made man, and God IS by faith, and man denied God, and lied to God. the lie caused God to doubt man, and doubt is poison to faith. so God cast doubt to the earth, but loved man still; that God created of himself. to reconcile man to himself, that sustains all by its faith, it must not be denied by man. and so God sent his own consciousness in the body of man, that lived in the world, but not of the world (or the ways of the world). by this act, the doubt of man and God(as when Satan speaks with God in job, "appears" exactly so) and the lies of the created doubt of God (Satan), are shielded by christ. who replaced doubt.
(you can understand this by observing your own doubt in your consciousness, which the voice of our reasoning is the conscious, which will make you feel bad for bad things and good for good things, or, perhaps the opposite)
so then, can God only accept those that will remove doubt, because any doubt is poison to the faith of God. how God has managed to allow mankind to exist this long being poison, i can only wonder.
but this is how i understand it by what i have observed to be the reality of God, and only can say that if you dispute it with me, i have no proof but my own reason by what i have read and understand, and ask that you also continually search scripture for the truth.

keep your mind from this way of enquiry, for never will you show that not-being is
