This is not an objective analysis. It boxes all into one of four groups; fascist, neo liberalist, anarchist and communist. Those four are the extremes of each group.
I end up with Jose Zapatera, socialist prime minister of Spain, in the lower bottom left of the blue. I'm in no way a socialist. The problem is that there's no way one could get a capitalist, religious or conservative reading.

Those four are the extremes of each group. That's why they are all the way out at the end, not that the entire box itself represents each of those things. If you were around Zapatero, then you are on the right with some, but not a lot of, authoritarian beliefs. That's you to a T. So what if you are in company with Zapatero, that goes to show you that you may actually appreciate some of the values of socialism. Don't reject it, man, accept it. The best part for me is that the far right is refered to as Neo-Liberalism. I remember saying that somewhere.... - Oni Edited by onifre, : No reason given.

I understand about the outer fringes, but there should be something to distinguish between socialist and just the opposite, e.g. capitalism. Perhaps the test has more to do with cultural values than to ideology. BUZSAW B 4 U 2 C Y BUZ SAW. Spain IS a capitalist country. I don't want to shock you Buz, but you can be both, as many countries are. So you may also share ideologies, too. In fact, the test is showing you that you have a lot more in common than you thought you did. Yicks! - Oni

Hi Buz,
Can you tell me what your scores were? I'd like to take all the scores here and compile them with the scores on the previous threads, just to see how the EvC crowd shapes up. I couldn't get my graph to show up here, but I was very close to ApostateAbe (see Message 18).

Hi RAZD. Here are my scores.
Your political compass Economic Left/Right: 2.00 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 1.08 Mmm, when I pasted the image, my dot lowered a square and a half landing on the line. (abe: I corrected by changing the reading numbers in the image link to the numbers which were tabulated after my test.) Edited by Buzsaw, : As noted BUZSAW B 4 U 2 C Y BUZ SAW. The problem is that there's no way one could get a capitalist, religious or conservative reading. Have you tried being an idiot? That would work.

I took it again trying to get a capitalist and religious conservative reading and come up with this:
The economic score was 8.88 and the social libertarian/authoritarian score was 8.05. Obviously it is possible to get a capitalist and religious conservative score if one holds the corresponding views. That you apparently don't is rather amusing. Ridicule is the only weapon which can be used against unintelligible propositions. -- Thomas Jefferson We see monsters where science shows us windmills. -- Phat It has always struck me as odd that fundies devote so much time and effort into trying to find a naturalistic explanation for their mythical flood, while looking for magical explanations for things that actually happened. -- Dr. Adequate ...creationists have a great way to detect fraud and it doesn't take 8 or 40 years or even a scientific degree to spot the fraud--'if it disagrees with the bible then it is wrong'.... -- archaeologist

Mine comes out just about correct

Hey Buz,
if you edit the link manually you can just plug in the right values, at the moment the link has 0 for your libertarian/authoritarian axes which corresponds to the image. TTFN, WK

And if he edits the link creatively he can get any score he wants.
Now that is an example of Intelligent Design. Edited by jar, : No reason given. Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!
