Just to be clear, nobody was denied service. He was just being a jerk and off-putting.
That said, his apology rings a bit hollow,
clicky, but at least he has the decency not to give the non-apology of, "I'm sorry if your feelings were hurt," as if it is his patron's responsibility for his actions. The only lesson he's learned is that you don't antagonize the customers and really, that's all we can expect.
