Newborn maintains:
I dont believe in aliens.
Ooh...the irony almost inherent in this statement, appearing as it does on a board where people debate the very existence of God...
Whereas crashfrog asserts:
Well, I don't believe in them either. But it's an awfully big universe - way too big for just us, I think.
I really think that this bears no relevance on the existence of alien life forms elsewhere. When a man ejaculates 300 million sperm into a woman only one of those sperm reaches an egg. On its own that sperm couldn't make it, but somehow together they all assist in giving that one sperm a whole new existence.
Perhaps our universe works that way. I don't believe this myself, but it seems possible to me that perhaps all this universe together only supplies enough "energy" for life on one planet - Earth.
Who knows?

I think that most Xians will go to Hell anyway if we believe the author of Revelation's mystical visions:
[3] And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
[4] These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins.
144,000 virgin xian men going to Heaven. That makes 12,000 from each tribe of Israel?
Unless, of course, you believe Bruce Metzger when he writes:
144,000 is a symbolic number, representing all those who remain faithful...
...John appears to adopt the imagery found frequently in the Old Testament where any contact with pagan worship was called 'fornication' or 'adultery.' Hence, the 144,000 are those who have not defiled themselves by participating in pagan worship.
in which case I have made an egregious & flagrant error.

Most important thing i wrote.
In response to Maverick:
Only people who receives Jesus by faith(who believes he die to save you and ressurrected) are going to heaven.
Having a religion is not sufficient.

What would you prefer to happen to you after you die?
