Asgara I agree with the suspension though I wish I had had the chance to tell him how truly refreshing it is to hear the "truth" from a triple digit IQ'd airline pilot who speaks four languages.I wonder if he is at another forum somewhere speaking of how he was 'muzzled' and censored though given his amiable nature he is probably ignored at those sites too.

I don't really agree with the "damned if it does and damned if it doesn't thing." Anyone who reads anything someone like laserlover writes knows that they are someone like laserlover. I used to read and enjoy a man named Peter Ruckman (I was young, only about 21, please forgive me), who was just like laserlover, though he tended to limit himself to theology. Even though I enjoyed reading him, though, I knew he was a first class jerk, and I knew that if people threw him out of somewhere it had little to do with what he believed and everything to do with how he acted. Anyone who would read complaints from laserlover about what a martyr he is would know after a paragraph what kind of person laserlover is. You can throw bums like that out without any risk of being condemned by anyone that wouldn't already have condemned you for any other reason they can find.

After coming back from 8 hours of driving, this is what I found. Can't you check his IP and ban the IP?

Yes, IPs can be banned. I generally leave that up to Percy or Moose. IP addresses are NOT necessarily unique, and banning the addy is a last resort method.

Laserlover is Back
Laserlover's posting privileges have been restored. If he returns and still has trouble following the Forum Guidelines, rather than a sudden suspension of posting privileges, moderators might consider gradually restricting his access to forums or taking away his ability to begin new threads, or perhaps short suspension periods. As always, moderators are free to set their own course in line with the guidelines for moderators.
