HOW TO START A NEW TOPIC (as of 4/13/04)

bump with question:I don't know the process, bu do you need to post a reply to the proposed new topics (the ones that are moved to other forums) to close them? I would prefer them just be closed and the the notice on the newly moved version (ie -- no duplicates)?

not that cut and dryon the netscape board each individual can filter posters out with an {Ignore Author} button, in effect monitoring their own board for what they can see on it.some topic go off and never return.the level of science there is lower than here - possibly a result of the topic driftthey also joke around and have fun.I don't need two boards operating the same way.

This looks good.The one question I have is still regarding off-topic branches from current topic threads. I think a good place for them would be the short subjects - side topics would either be short (per category definitions) or grow to a new thread and admin could decide to move it.
