Wanted: Icon Help

I have a question for members. All this board's icons need to be replaced. That includes the smilies, message icons, the post reply butons, the profile, reply, email and other icons. Everything.In the best of all worlds, several different theme sets of icons would be created.Anyone interested in helping out? You'd receive eternal credit on the board's credits page (which doesn't exist yet).

What is the problem with existing icons?If you google for "public domain icons" there are many that you can potentially use. For example, the following pages give large collections of icons in the public domain. Are these any use?

This too I can do after I've moved. I've done a bit of icon work before.I guess starting with public domain stuff makes sense though.

This board will someday be moving off UBB software and onto my own bulletin board software. We're using a lot of that software now. A necessary step in final separation from UBB is to use all my own icons, either original or public domain. The source of the icons is not important as long as someone else doesn't claim ownership. My most significant issue, given the amount of software yet to be written, is lack of time.I took a glance at the first site - has good variety. What I could use is if someone could create a table like this:

Function Theme 1 Theme 2 Theme 3 Theme 4 Mail Reply etc... etc... etc... etc... All the rest etc... etc... etc... etc...

And also gather all the images to a central place where I could scarf them up.

When do you need it done by?

There is absolutely no hurry. I have a list of around 75 items that have to be completed, some of them major, and icons is only one of them. But icons are the only item that isn't software - my skills don't run to the graphical area. As proof I offer my "raw text" icon.

But Percy, DarlingI LOVE that raw text icon....a study in simplicity...yet the bold color is a visual treat.I can't say enough...sir..I bow before your talent... (wonder if NOW I get that raise...)
