Then why did you mention them? It was you who brought up "kids around the country", you know.
It will be MY choice on how they are taught about certain things.
Yeah, that's fine. Gay people can't come into your home and teach your home-schooled kids about being gay.
But at such time as you remand your children to the public education system, you've made it clear that you're leaving it to the public to determine the best education for your children. As a parent you certainly have input into that, but so does everybody else.
If you don't like the public schools, homeschool. But if you're going to remand your kids to public education, then everybody gets a say in what your kids learn.
