Is there something stopping you proposing new topics, Whatever?

my five pence
As a new member - I'd like to make a couple of quick points.
1) Having to have new topics proposed will put new members off
I think my 3rd or 4th post was a new topic suggestion!
Let me give you a bit of backstory at this point: I have been debating the issues covered here on a number of forums. However I got sick of the "hit and run posters", the "I posted some evidence em..somewhere" and so on. Part of the attraction of this site is that the moderation does not really allow this.
2) The mods acting as thought police
If that's the case, why do they put them up in a forum for us to see! I think the current system is a good method of a) ensuring that duplicate threads are kept down; and b) helps to ensure that all questions are sensible not - "god dunno it you dirty evos!" or "Darwin ruz you thickos!".
that is all :-)

Percy, All of what you say might be true, however, AdminNosey if he was being impartial should of warned Nosy Ned, for posting off topic, requesting an answer off topic, unless there is a double standard for certain members, etc...
P.S. Perhaps NosyNed was ignorant of the importance that AdminNosy for posts to be on topic, though NosyNed is one of those members that demands answers of members, his only way of contributing is to demand members to answer questions, while Ned never seems to have anything to contribute, etc... I'm only bringing up NosyNed because he posted immediately after AdminNosy demanded posts be on topic, etc...If your going to enforce on topic discussion, there are multitudes of posters posting off topic, just to be courteous to answer other posters questions that are off topic too, but I was trying to get back to the bear lake study, how glacier affects varves, in fact in being courteous to NosyNed answering his question, was still in reference to glaciers, did they happen suddenly, if so then Razd's correlations had no merit, etc... I guess that what bothers AdminNosy, that the truth is that snow varves in the natural in respect to the buried ww2 plane show snow varves are not annual varves, meaning of course the glaciers are not all that old, contradicting Razd's data. AdminNosy probably had it in for me, or he would of at least given NosyNed a warning, too, etc..............................................

Forum Guideline Enforcement
You might want to read Message 36. The moderators are here to catch broad or extreme violations, not to nit-pick every post. Such an approach would require many more moderators, and currently the burden of moderation falls exclusively on evolutionists, since no Creationists seem interested in the role.
If Wm. Scott Anderson is reading, perhaps you'd accept a moderator role?

whatever writes:

And what the hell is wrong with demanding for answers from people who do not seem to get the simple fact that a valid argument reguires valid premises (evidence) for the argument to be valid?
I'm only bringing up NosyNed because he posted immediately after AdminNosy demanded posts be on topic, etc...If your going to enforce on topic discussion, there are multitudes of posters posting off topic
The difference between you and them is they only post off topic once or twice in a thread (sometimes to relieve the pressure) and you seem to enjoy posting a string of off topic nonsensical messages.

I think we should turn Ned over to AdminNosy to discuss some possible restrictions.
