Actually...

Time stopped = experience of suffering stopped. Doesn't sound too hellish?
Time inside the event horizon would seem
to us to stop. However, to whoever/whatever that's inside the event horizon time would seem like normal. Therefore, if you are talking about suffering inside the black hole, the suffering doesn't stop as far as whoever that's in the black hole is concern.
Light can't escape = black hole filled with light, not endless darkness.
The extreme gravitational condition would drain or rip apart whatever energy that's there, including photons.
Intense gravity may even hold spirit beings? What is a spirit being and in what ways would gravity affect them? What other physical laws would affect them?
There has been many suggestions about what a spirit being is. One of the most popular one that people tend to follow, even if they know it or not, is that a spirit being is the consciousness of whoever that it used to belong to. Consciousness can also be viewed as information. If you know about black hole physics, you should know where I'm going with this.
A black hole is, by definition, a place where no information can ever escape. Since no information can ever escape, it is impossible to
probe the singularity. But anyway, I propose that spirit beings are really consciousness of the dead. Since consciousness is really information, I conclude that spirit beings cannot escape from black holes.
I suggest you think about it a little more
