Re: sure looks like it!
You can assert anything you want. That does not change the evidence. De Nile is not just a river.
Jesus taught by using tale, fable and parable. In particular, next to example, parable was his biggest tools. It is not at all surprising that he'd use the myth or parable of the Flood as one of his teaching tools.

Re: Ark in wonderland...
I think he can and will come around. I have faith in him. He's struggling with large volumes of new information. That information runs counter to what he's been told in the past. That's a lot to take in and it will take him a while to get a handle on all of it.
The biggest hurdle IMHO is that he's been taught that Evolution throws God out of the equation. It will take him a while to realize that there is nothing related to Evolution that is anti-God or anti-Christian. It will take a while for him to realize that the Theory of Evolution is far more complete and holds far fewer inconsistencies than Genesis.

Re: Cambrian creation life cut short
Not if you wander over to Message 1. It will be right on target there.

Re: teeth: better than tea leaves!
There is still a question pending from Message 41.
Can you tell us what critters died off during the Cambrian Period?

Re: you show me yours
What is in the record that you would say died out during the Cambrian Period?

Re: don't go evo on me
which is? pop quiz, what was alive in the cambrian period? what did the extinction kill off? what survived? do you even know?
I've been trying to get an answer to that since this thread began. LOL
Mayhaps you will get more information out of him than I have so far.

Re: white glove treatment
Evolution does not well explain the cambrian explosion. God's creation does!
ROTFLMAO
What a statement.
Do you by any chance remember what you titled this thread?
And now let's return for a moment to a question that you have still failed to address.
What critters died out during the Cambrian Era?

Debating in good faith
Let's talk about that.
So far you have never offered ANY evidence for anything you have alleged.
So perhaps this is a good place.
Please provide your evidence that
  • Adam existed.
  • that we decay now more than ten times faster.
  • that there was a split.
  • that there is something like your S type light.
  • that there has ever been any change in decay rates.

Re: decaying questions
So you have no evidence whatsoever.
Not for even one of the questions.
There is ample evidence to support the Theory of Evolution, but you have no evidence for any of your wild assertions.

Re: decaying questions
So finally we get to the heart of the matter. You have no evidence.
Since the vast majority of Christians have no problem with Evolution, and there is evidence to support the TOE, I guess what you have is both bad science and even worse theology.

Re: Adam's atoms
The decay of Adam I was talking about was that his lifespan decayed, first from eternal, then to about a thousand years.
First, you have no evidence other than the mention in the Bible that there ever was an Adam. Second, in the mention in the Bible there is no indication that his lifespan would have ever been eternal. Third, there is no indication in the Bible that Adams lifespan was shortened in anyway.
And once again you bring up the split. You have never offered any evidence that there ever was a split.
Do you have any evidence for anything?
