Another factor may be in the matter of free will both on earth and throughout the rest of the universe.
Umm... it's a pretty large universe out there, Buz. Our planet makes up maybe 0.0001% of our solar system, which makes up maybe 0.0000000001% of our galaxy, which makes up maybe 0.0000000001% of what universe we can currently detect. D'ya really, really think that this electron in an atom in a protein in a hair on the tail wags that whole dog? That seems a pretty arrogant position to take to me.
And my preacher dad always said Gehenna was the Jerusalem city dump, not a lake of fire. The lake is only in Revelations, no? And Gehenna in a gospel somewhere?

Good post, Cora, as are most others which I'll try to get to soon.
1, As demonstrated in the OT as well as the NT, God, the majesty of the universe seems to delight in doing big things by using little insignificant things to do the job. Why, Imo, he likes showing the hosts of heaven what he is able to do with so little via soooo much of the power of his mighty multipresent Holy Spirit.
2. Remember, my topic is about saving the universe by means of the earth. I have hypothesised that this tiny dot in the vast universe is what God created to justly end the evil of Satan and his empire. In revelation 12 he is cast to the earth and later cast into the lake of fire.
And my preacher dad always said Gehenna was the Jerusalem city dump, not a lake of fire. The lake is only in Revelations, no? And Gehenna in a gospel somewhere?
That's correct. It was the dump as I understand, but I believe it is used also in reference to the lake of fire. I'll check that out for a reference.

So God has an ego problem, that explanation also negates the thrust of your proposal in this thread.

The tree was put in to test man. You cant give man freewill by limiting his choice to do wrong, which he did. To choose poorly, which he did. And yes i do believe God knew what would happen. I believe it was part of his plan. To test mankind of every generation until judgement day. To see who would stay faithful and who would choose Satan and evil over God and righteousness. And vice versa. Theres so much to life, so much to enjoy that we forget that God has only one thing on his mind, which is his eternal plan.
So you don't by the idea that he might have a bigger universal picture in mind like doing in Satan and his kingdom when he created the earth?

I dont understand?
I suggest you go back to my OP and read it carefully. Then if you don't understand my post, let's talk about what is not clear, as my last post was alluding to that OP statement.

It's an interesting story with absolutely no foundation within the scriptures.
That doesn't mean it isn't true, but it does mean you need to explain why you are cherry picking out of the text.
