That essay on my site was just one side of it, and remember the site was also supposed to be FUNNY. The purpose is deemed by the person using it. A tool has a set of tasks it can perform, but the current task it is used for is decided by who wields it. Same thing with jokes. As the 'user' of the joke my purpose is comedy. Yes, indeed! I don't know of any other sites that have published my material. I haven't given them permission. If they have, please tell me what sites have done so.If you meant that they've said similar things, well screw 'em. They're not me, I'm not them. Does anybody else miss Betta? And Desdamona? Now THAT was humo(u)r!

I think Betta was a little before my time (don't know her at all). I do miss Desdamona, however. Never before had I seen such... actually, I don't think there is a word to describe her condition. The closest word I can think of right now is "crackpot".
