Offhand the approved form of the message 1 seems to have some superfluous content, including the graphics, but I advanced it to open debate anyway. Try to restrain yourself on such matters in the future - I think it just adds clutter to your message.
You supplied your own link (Quote Mine Project: Darwin Quotes), which in itself pretty well covers the quotation in question. I don't know what much more can be said on the matter.
Now we see what else happens.

Nasa's posting priviledges restricted - This topic closed
Message 14 has nothing to do with the topic - And I wish others wouldn't respond to such things, other than (perhaps) with the simple statement "off-topic".
Nasa's posting priviledges have been set to (if everthing works correctly) restricting him/her to posting only in the "Suggestions and Questions" forum. This forum just happens to be the home of the complaints about moderation topic, which is titled "Change in Moderation?". The link to it is in my "signature", below.
This topic is toast. Closing it.

Re: Nasa's posting priviledges restricted - This topic closed - Topic reopened
Perhaps I should have left it closed for longer, for stronger effect.
Anyway, by request, the topic has been reopened. Please confine your messages to material relating to message 1, and not the later off-topic digressions.

Topic drift? - The theme quotation is...
"I am quite conscious that my speculations run quite beyond the bounds of true science." as quoted in *N.C. Gillespie, Charles Darwin and the Problem of Creation (1979), p. 2 [University of Chicago book].
This topic is defined very specificly to be about the above.
If your message does not directly relate to the above quote, you are off-topic.

Time for "DarkStar's Collection of Quotations - Number 2"?
DarkStar, you may wish to consider some of Loudmouths guidelines.
If you wish, submit DarkStar's Collection of Quotations - Number 2 to the "Proposed New Topics" forum. Keep the opening message trimmed to the essentials. No graphics, no unneeded extra formatting, etc. Any unneeded bulk will prevent topic advancement.
You may post a message 2 (or more) if you wish to discuss the content/format of message 1.
As was the case with this topic, I ask the other admins to leave the advancement of any such DarkStar topic to me. You are, however, welcome to chip in with suggestions"
For whatever it may be worth, the pre-release version of "Number 1" can be found here.
Please, no replies to this message at this topic.

Topic has gone long past its original theme - Closing down
Take the moth stuff to:
Wells' Icons of Evolution - Peppered Moths
or perhaps:
Book Review: Of Moths and Men
This topic closed.

Topic drifted badly - Now inactive - Closing time
This topic was VERY specificly created to be about the Darwin quotation:
quote:
"I am quite conscious that my speculations run quite beyond the bounds of true science." as quoted in *N.C. Gillespie, Charles Darwin and the Problem of Creation (1979), p. 2 [University of Chicago book].
The topic has drifted all over the place, including an excellent but badly misplaced discussion of the Peppered Moth.
Closing the topic (for the second time).
