Born2Preach is Victorious!
maybe there should be an EvC mod for Unreal Tournament...Syamsu will run around in circles and eventually fall out of the map...Mr. Hambre will get fragged while dreaming of Eliza Dushku, crashfrog and Moose will ignore everyone else and shoot at each other, riVerRat will complain that the characters look gay.
And then Born2Peach will come in and slaughter whoever's left with his Amazing Grace cannon!!

One of the coolest weapons in Worms (not the oldest one, though)...
Nothing beats a choir of angels singing the praise of the Lord just before blowing someone appart.

Well, it is hard to distinguish the two of you since you share underwear (please wash them next time..there is a nice little laundromat in Nganjuk for which there is no comparison) and both profess love for the same B movie actresses.....actually, where the hell is Mr. Hambre these days?

The crippled psalms of an age that won't thaw are ringing in my ears"

Recently played:
Megaman Network Transmission
Meh. It's got some high points, but feels a little overly bogged down for a Megaman game, without the game itself being any more complex to match it.
But I finally beat all eight basic Megaman games. 1 and 7 gave me the most trouble.
Simpsons: Hit and Run
It took almost twenty years, but it finally happened... somebody put out a Simpsons video game that doesn't make me want to gouge my eyes out with a lobster fork and stick a hatpin in my ear.
Nothing in life to date has been funnier than Cletus the Slack-Jawed Yokel informing us that "grandpappy's gone to be with Allah now."
Final Fantasy V
I got bored wandering around, and haven't gone back to it.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, who the hell came up with the names for all of the characters? Fat Man..Solid Snake, Solidus, Vamp...sounds like Quentin Tarantino directing a porno.

See if you have a friend who's playing City of Heroes. See if they'll let you mess around with the Hero Creator options at the beginning.
If that doesn't get you hooked into the game, it's just possible that you have no soul.
Trust me. You'll have a blast. Making your own awesome, (fairly) unique comic book hero is an incredible aspect of the game. (If you get into it, look for Vandiver on the Triumph server.)

I have no doubt that City of Heroes would be farther up my alley than two hobos wrasslin' over a block of spoiled cheese. But at current date I have no home computer. I'm hoping to have one by Thanksgiving, but I have to save up so I don't wind up with another used, obsolete piece of crap that's gonna pack it in on me the first time I try to do something more complicated than play solitaire.
Thinking of an iBook G4 right now, with an iPod for good measure...

Oh, sweet. I have techno-lust.
Unfortunately CoH doesn't run on Mac yet. I'm a big Mac nut but I switched to PC because I'm not made of money; and I wanted to get more serious about computer gaming. (Probably going to sell my Gamecube; never play it anymore.) But on about $800 bucks and a fair bit of scrounging I've managed to put together two midrange gaming PC's, so my wife and I can rock City of Heroes - whenever she's not doing homework.

Hey, I told Syamsu it was mine but all he did was say something about Lorenz and reproduction...it was a throwdown from there on.

Oh, sweet. I have techno-lust.
Yeah, I'm practically drooling over the apple webpage every hour, on the hour or so.
The girl I'm dating right now also has an iBook, and I honestly don't know which of them to paw at when I'm over at her apartment. She says she wants me to get one too so we can put them together and they can make little iPods.
Unfortunately CoH doesn't run on Mac yet. I'm a big Mac nut but I switched to PC because I'm not made of money; and I wanted to get more serious about computer gaming.
Macs aren't as good for gaming, no two ways about it. But they're much better for graphics programs, which are obviously a bigger concern for me.

I thought the bumfights ref screwed you when he called you out for prejudicial moves.

Yeah, absolutely true. If I ever find myself in a position to nab a laptop, which I'll probably have to do if I manage to get into journalism school (my current pipe dream), it'll be Apple-city. Nobody else comes close on the laptop front.
