Re: But Still!
Just a thought!
As we moved forward we lost our hair, gained "some brains", became more adaptable, and able to communicate. We went from nakedness to clothing, from caves to high rises, and we are even starting to go into space. If I we going to give a sketch artist a description of our future relatives what would it look like?
NO HAIR: no reason to protect agains cold "they control their own climate."
LONGER FINGERS: to use on key boards.
LARGER BRAIN CAVITY: able to tap into and use 100% of the brain.
LARGER EYES: no longer need smaller ones for protection from elements/sun.
LACK OF PIGMENT: again no need to protect from the elements.
I believe it would look like an alien from the cover of "communion".

"FROM ONE THING, YOU HAVE LEARNED TENTHOUSAND"

Re: But Still!
Yes, however, some do have more gifts than others. More on the level of metaphysics or parapscychology like telekinesis and such.

Re: But Still!
(1) The question of possible future humans, is what I meant.
(2) As far as metaphysics are concerned, I was talking about the ability using mind, body, and soul. And quite possible to use energy fields that exist to their best advantage.
(3) As far as I know, there is not very many of us that can tap into our minds and move objects, be able to levitate, or read minds on a daily level. The last time I tried to bend a spoon, I failed. I have been able to find water through dowsing though.
(4) I do believe that there are some people who can use 100% of thier brain, I just don't think there are many. However, I am not a brain specialist. Obviously, ha ha.
(5) What is your thoughts on what our evolved brothers might look like in the future?

Re: But Still!
(1)There are still people in the scientific community still reasearching parapsychology correct? Or have they already killed this subject off?
(2)I personally have not read nor have I heard of any conclusive facts one way or another. It is my understanding that there is still alot of reasearch in this area.
(3)Please let me know if in fact that the rest of the scientific community has put these red headed step children out to the dog house.

Re: But Still!
(1)It just looks as if people are still spending money on and reasearching the topic in greater detail.
(2)EEG and SPECT data of a selected subject during PSI tasks: The discovery of neurophysiological correlate. Journal of Parapsychology, vol. 62/ number 2 Jun 98 pp102-104.
(3)Again I am not a Professional in this field, It just keeps my intrest up.

not a reputable journal?
(1)Maybe you are correct! My bad!
(2)Which one of the twenty journals do YOU suppose would be the most reputable?
(3)I personally have always seemed to find that one pretty good!
Alot of people in the field (parapsychology)seem to recognize it.
But, then again I am not nor do I profess to be an expert in this field.
(4)Just as a side note. I believe this field of research is still in it's infancy. Give it another 100 years!

Maybe So!
(1)Please don't start talking about t.v. I don't watch it much.
I don't even let the children watch much of it. Melts the brains they say!
(2)I always keep my mind open to new thoughts and research. If it wasn't for somebody thinking it was possible to circumnavigate the earth, I do believe we might be sitting in Europe wondering what was to the west.
(3)Somebody has to push the limits. That's what made the differance between Charles Darwin and the side liners of his time. As a matter of fact I do believe this is what keeps us going in the field of science. Either prove or disprove. At least come up with a theory. Perhaps I am wrong.
