If just one small thing goes wrong we cannot function properly which often results in death
Right, but that's not a property that is usually associated with good design. In fact multiple points of catastrophic failure are generally considered poor or even negligent design.

But through evolution, organisms have become much more complex.
A small minority of organisms have become progressively more complex, yes. But you need to understand that that's the exception, not the rule. The vast, vast majority of the Earth biomass (i.e. the total tonnage of matter found in living things) is still single-celled organisms. The vast majority of species are very simple organisms.
Complexity is not a general trend, it's almost an isolated incident.

As far as I know, there is not very many of us that can tap into our minds and move objects, be able to levitate, or read minds on a daily level.
As far as anybody knows, nobody is able to do any of that.

Which one of the twenty journals do YOU suppose would be the most reputable?
On the subject of parapsychology? Being, as it is, pseudoscience, none of them.
I believe this field of research is still in it's infancy.
Well, I'm pretty sure these flim-flam artists and hucksters have been around forever; certainly they were around when Houdini was debunking their claims.
There's actually a considerable tradition of stage magicians exposing flim-flammery like this; Houdini was a noted debunker; some years ago, a magician named James Randi took up that mantle (and offered his now-famous prize, still unclaimed, for anyone that could substantiate paranormal events or powers under basic laboratory conditions); and now the noted entertainers Penn and Teller have joined that august company. They have their own show about it, now in its second season, I believe. You can get the first season on DVD at the video store.
It's called "Bullshit."

I always keep my mind open to new thoughts and research.
So do I, but there's a difference between keeping an open mind and abandoning all efforts at rational discernment. In other words, keep an open mind, but not so open all your brains fall out.
