mike is evolving

mike has done the unthinkable and has been refuting the bible(in parts) at christian forums. . I am not happy about this but I thought you might want to look at some explanations given. SO far - I've only seen mental gymnastics, and logic IMHO, has been ignored. HELP! HERE I argue against the bible's apparent justification of atrocities, and my name is "ziw et ekima". Do not be confused by people calling me "mike".Edit; Fixed typo.Science and logic have got the better of me. I believe there is nothing stopping evolution, therefore - though I am creationist - I am "for" evolution, you could even call me an evolutionist I suppose.I still have my faith intact - this is the strange thing - nothing effects my belief in Christ. I believe Truthlover or Jar are similar chaps in this regard. You can see in the link that I still believe in most of the bible. And Jar has convinced me that there are different canons anyway - so why pretend it is a perfect book - with one author - when the books are seperated by centuries? _{Edited by AdminJar to fix link: ain't power great?}

Yep - it's true, the lunatic in the mask knows me better than I know myself. Thanks Ned and Jar/Lam - for the comments and encouragement.I'm glad you posted actually Lam, I've tried to observe logic a lot because of you....I know I act radical in threads but I'm all bark and no bite in reality.

Thanks, it might have had something to do with your postings aswell - you had a part in it. I remember, the discussion about no absolute certainties in science, and how you always point out that science has no say on God - or the ToE has no effect on faith. Get an avatar though, - memory is helped by regocnition - I always remember Kent because of his distinctive avatar. I recommend one, and people might remember you more. It can be hard to memorise things - and even people at times, unfortunately.
