Sorry to see you go. In your own way your as much an iconoclast of authority as John Davison. EvC Forum is not your personal playground.

While neither you or John can seem to control or temper your personal animosities, there *is*, I think, a big difference between you. You, at least, understand that it is this inability that causes your restrictions. John seems to think his restrictions are brought on by a desire to censor his views. Nothing could be further from the truth, of course. We'd love to see John discuss his views, but he seems to be the one least willing to do so. Most of the time he's mired in a pattern of insults and unsupported assertions. I hope the very encouraging pattern he's demonstrated recently (though I haven't read his thread today) continues.
