Re: Might as well post it here.
That's not true - Bush has increased spending year or year by more than any other president in the last fifty years.
http://www.marktaw.com/...ure_and_media/TheNationalDebt.html - look at section two.

Re: Bush W. didn't ban coffin photos
Fotunately they did allow a photographer in... once... by accident. We have this picture of the American dead from April 2004.

The debt is going up only because we are not getting as much money in.
Exactly. The policies of the Bush administration have increased the debot. That is the point of the graph.
And see the above post for refutation of the Bush-doesn't-spend myth. Bush has never vetoed a single bill, and Bush has greatly expanded the size of government. He is not a "small government" conservative.

Just remember pink, if it wasn't Clinton's fault (see how that debt increased right after Clinton left? It had to be Clinton's fault) it is now John Kerry's fault.
The emperor's clothes are just fine thank you.

We now find out that you can't even read a graph right.
The debt is going up only because we are not getting as much money in. Execpt for the war in Iraq, Bush is actually spending less than Clinton ever did, ther's just not enough money coming in to even fund this lower budget. We could get more taxes if we stopped outsourcing, somthing that almost all of the factories that kerry owns are.
Just how does any of this make any sense?

What factories are owned by Kerry? If you mean the Heinz ketchup empire, thats his wife. As for their overseas factories, try to think for a minute. They produce a perishable product, the less time it takes to ship the product to the consumer the better. The overseas facillities produce goods for the overseas countries, to call this outsourcing is to ignore reality.

It means Bush gets a free pass for the war, and doesn't have to count that toward his spending total. It means our friend is oblivious to the fact that the war was/is 1) manufactured by Bush and his advisors voluntarily, and 2)costs us vast quantities of money.
Let us not speak of the lives it has cost.

The "Important" Moral Issues
The question(s) I would like to ask anyone who voted for GWB:
If Kerry had come out strongly anti-abortion, and/or strongly anti-homosexual marriage, and/or strongly pro-10 commandments on public propery (even if Bush still held the same positions) - Would you have voted Kerry instead of Bush?

Bush...A Christian Fraud
Our fearless leader George W Bush is a fraud. Holding his Christian banner high as he sends our troops to their deaths. Never having the courage to fight for his country himself, he dresses in battle gear and becomes the great pretender. Pretending he cares for our troops while he truely cares for Middle East Oil and profits made from the war he has created. Pro Life...Not this president. If this is an example of a good Christain, then I'll be happy burning in his immaginary hell. Our beloved president is creating a hell for the poor civilians in Iraq as we speak.

Al-Udeid
quote:
A friend of mine in the air force got shipped to Qatar this week, the most heavily defended base in the area. Their defense: a ten foot tall chain-link fence. He asked his CO if the terrorists were allowed to shoot through the fence, of if there was some kind of treaty that prevented them from doing so. The CO didn't find it funny, so he told her "whatever, but if it has a towel on it's head, it's fair game!" He was trying to get out of going, trying to walk that fine line of too crazy to go over-seas, but not too crazy to get kicked out. What a character. If he comes home in a body bag, I will seriously flip out.
Brad
Hehe... that dude sounds like fun. I just wanted to let you know you've got nothing to worry about. That place is safer than most towns in America. Words cannot even express how heavy the security is. I came through there on my way to where I am now, and will be passing through again in soon, and it is a vacation spot compared to most bases in theater. It's in the middle of nowhere on an empty plain, and there is no cover for anybody who tries to approach. You would see them coming miles away. I did hear that somebody had supposedly lobbed *a* mortar round at the base a while back, the only time it has been shot at all year, and with no effect. The rumor was that it was staged in order to maintain combat zone benefits for everyone playi- errr, stationed there. I'd almost believe it.
Hope your friend has a decent time out there, anyway. I'm sure he'll be fine.

Re: Might as well post it here.
Yes he added a new orginazation, homeland security, and that was only because you liberals insisted. Secondly, the economy was doing just fine under him until 9/11, it was his tax cuts that slowed and finally stoped the recession. Plus, did you notice that the stock market went up the day after Bush was elected, with almost every one agreeing that him geting re elected boosted it?
