This is a post I made in the Miller-Urey thread (http:// EvC Forum: Information --> EvC Forum: Information). I transposed it here as a suggestion for the forum:
I think Jazzin has braught up an excelent point! I think this may even be a point of mederation. People who are confrontational to the point of antagonizim, should be reprimanded. I see it alot in those threads that turn into a creo bash fest. Lot's of "put up or shut up", or Rhain's ever popluar "Liar". Heck, I have even done it at times. I think this may be a reason why alot of the creos feel the way they do about the evos. Maybe we should change the guidelines to bar this kind of behavior, and make the forum a place where it's ok to be wrong? What do you think? Im going to double post this into Suggestions and ideas.

I think it's a great point. Consensus is always better than confrontation. We can all do better.

I don't think so. I only start saying "either provide the evidence or go away" when they've been talking for 5 pages and still provided nothing of substance. Take the homosexuality and the bible thread. Almost 200 posts of nothing related to what I asked for. You give me one good reason why I shouldn't be frustrated in such situation.

When it comes to 'bashing', I think the Creos can hold their own. Those condemnations to hell scare the pants off me.

But how is a negative number equivalent to a wrongdoing? That negative and positive concept works with math and quarks, but our associating them with right and wrong is nonsequiter. Take that, mathematics! It's just one step on my long road of revenge, which will really kick in after my last manditory math class is over...
