It could be a hoax, yes. I don't really know. I'm going to guess that it's the miscarried fetus of some sort of monkey. Looking at the pictures a second time, maybe someone took a skull and arms from some animal, or possible a human fetus, and mounted them on a stick. If that's the case, it's a hoax.

I agree, it is clearly a very skinny alien chest burster with arms.

I agree, it is clearly a very skinny alien chest burster with arms. not exactly what i was going for, i was actually thinking more "wir atomkinder" or "we atomic children" in english, but i couldn't find a good picture to match it with. and giger did a lot more than alien.

That thing looks like a burnt alien action figure or something. Another thing - check the date. Its from october 2002. If there was any chace of it being a real humanoid we would of have known about its existence a long time ago.

In the December 2004 issue of Scientific American there is a small article (P.34) on 'A Mini Human Species.' In the article it says on the Indonesian island of Flores they have found a new species of human, which is barely a meter tall. This however seems to be different from the very small humaniod you seem to be referring to.

A telling point.
Another thing - check the date. Its from october 2002. If there was any chace of it being a real humanoid we would of have known about its existence a long time ago. I agree, smart thinking Jazz. That is rather telling. This is exactly what the media would jump all over if there was the tiniest smell of something. (Of course, the tabloids will even if there is nothing to it).
