I noticed the heading this area was under:
[Are today's species the products of descent with modification? Or are they the divine creation of God?]
The answer to both questions is: Yes. I hope that there are not any YECs that have been arguing that species do not evolve. Because they do. But is the small 'e' evolution the result of careful planning by a supreme being, or random chance? God has intertwined in the DNA of all living creatures the ability to change. I am not trying to argue a fact or anything, I just wanted to comment on the title. I just thought it was kinda interesting.

The general opinion on this site seems to be that
speciation (often referred to as micro-evolution) does
indeed happen.
The YEC contention is that no MAJOR change has happened as
a result of evolution .. that i sno new organ or species
can have emerged by an accumulation of small changes.
