How do young earth creationists deal with fossils? How do they explain them? A neighbor of mine who was a fundementalist minister said that fossils were fabricated by anthropologists, paleotologists and paleobotanists. What are most YEC's opinions on fossils?

That they were all laid down during the so-called Flood of the bible. Or that their god put them there to "test" their faith. Or some such nonsensical "reason".
