Now that Arafat, pederast among other things, is dead, I wondered how Islam connects with pederasty. Quite well, considering sources, including the quoran.
Excerpt from 'In the Beginning', research done by Denise Carter.
http://www.inoohr.org/inthebeginning.htm
Or google - 'Muslims and Pederasty', which should lead you to this site. Or share your sources.
Excerpt: For the last 5000+ years, the Muslims and their ancestral tribal sects have practiced pederasty!
When Muhammad formed the Muslim religion he took pederast practices of the region, mixed it with the Greek pederast views and formed a religion. That is, the Muslim's have practiced 'same sex pedophilia'! While their beliefs regulate that a woman must be a virgin at marriage, sex is not forbidden to either men or women. That is, sex between same sex is encouraged, and so long as it is done it the 'proper Muslim' way. As with the Greek culture, adult men are encouraged to form relationships with young men just reaching puberty. These adult men, are then encouraged to form a sexual relationship with these young men. The whole system 'stinks', since the adult
Muslim men are taught to perform homosexual sex upon the young men. It is so warped, in that, as long as an adult male 'gives' sex to the younger man, it is accepted. The younger man, is then expected to do the same to a young man, once he reaches maturity. Homosexuality is separated into compartments within the Muslim culture. If an adult male sodomizes a younger male (8-14), then he is still in control, and not committing a sex crime according to their warped Scriptures.
And once the 'sodomized young male' reaches maturity, he must also continue with the tradition, sodomizing younger males.
and so on!

been ignoring this
It has sat here and no one has paid attention.
I don't like the tone of the topic but I'd like to see it discussed.

What's the evidence for this?
I have a hard time believing that the Muslim world condones same-sex sex of any kind, since that's one of the things that they hate about the Western world.

What a bunch of cowcrap.
Let me tell you a story that was told to me by a Muslim friend of mine. We'll call him Person A.
Person A was back in his homeland of Palastine a few years back. While there, he and his cousin decided to go to another town not so far away to visit some relatives there. They were going to walk and try to catch a cab along the way. So, they walked for a long time until a cab finally showed up. Well, the cab was already occupied so there was only room for one more person. Person A told them that "he," referring to his cousin, could sit on his lap. Both the cab driver and the other customer looked at the 2 in disgust and drove away.
Later that day, his relatives told him why it happenned, that those people thought they were homosexuals.
If you think Christian fundamentalists are unfair to homosexuals, you ain't seen nothing yet.
Besides, was this suppose to be an insult to Islam, considering that you, George, {edited version} look down on homosexual people?

Re: I have my eye on you
There is a difference between being able to support one's assertion and not being able to support one's assertion. When we have a case where one cannot support one's assertion about other people, we usually refer one as a bigot.
I have dealt with George before and the best defense for his claim that "homosexuality is a sin" was, "you do your own research... I'm not going to do your homework for you... the bible clearly states that..."
My question to you is why do you think it is a personal attack to say that one is a bigot? In a way, everyone is a bigot. I am considered by many as a bigot because I don't like the French for illogical reasons.
Might I suggest that you read this thread before making unfounded accusations and threats?

Lam
How did your name calling advance the converstaion?
We all slip up sometimes. I am certainly as guilty as any, but I am trying to do better. Question the support for the assertions in the OP instead of allowing the thread to move away from those issues. Ask for support, make PG support the assertions, or revise the OP to show that the claims are simply PG's belief or opinion instead of fact.

Name calling does not advance this conversation. However, getting to the root of why George would fall prey to such obvious lies about Islam might.
If you want me to think of a better way to say "homophobic bigot," I will definitely try.

Let's stick to substantiating that they are lies, first. I'd like to see some evidence for this claim, whatever evidence is in what's-her-face's book.

Evidence? From PecosGeorge? LOL!

When has PG ever felt the need to provide evidence for anything he says? This is a guy who thinks bible verses are evidence! I quit responding to him ages ago. I'm not to say that I won't ever respond to him, but I don't feel moved to at present. His posts are too laughable to bother.

Dog is my copilot.

Actually, those bible verses that you mentioned aren't even real bible verses. They are imaginary at best.

PG, you might want to look for sources of information that don't simply reinforce your preferred biases.
Page not found - Safra Project Muslim_Moral_Instruction_on_Homosexuality.pdf
According to Al-Fatiha, a Washington, D.C.-based organization that advocates for the rights of GLBT Muslims, most traditional scholars of Islam consider same-sex acts to be sinful, and many believe that having a gay or lesbian sexual orientation is unnatural. Al-Fatiha?s website states:
?There is a general consensus amongst the scholars of Islam (both past and present) that homosexuality is a deviation of man's true (heterosexual) nature. Thus the act of homosexuality is sinful and is viewed with contempt in most Muslim societies and countries.?

Schraf
Actually, PG was making the distinction that the fact that this practice is done in a specific context i.e. older male to younger male and not equal in society, age, etc that somehow this does not fall under "homosexuality". I have to lend hearsay credence to this from the first time the U.S was in Iraq/Saudi. At the time I did not find it that surprising, and still don't, since every single religion splits hairs to accomodate certain social aspects of a group, and they often pick and choose what sins will be strictly followed and which are more dispensible(I guess).
However, from what I heard, this practice occurs among unmarried men(period!) and that they are of similiar age....the rationale, as I heard it, being that men need some way to release themselves prior to marriage. Therefore, it is considered a necessity NOT homosexuality since they will get married to a woman.

Sick...
As an Arab and a Christian I absolutly resent this sick generalization! Even IF it was true in the past which I highly doubt it most certainly is NOT a tennant of Islam or Arab culture today. Shame on you for promoting this lie!
What is even the purpose for displaying this garbage? The only reason I can see is for the propogation of hate by drawing a blanket of association between a religion you dislike and an act so vile.
It disgusts me not only to see the monster of hate in this world but to see people feeding that monster for their own sick and twisted sense of rightousness!
