Harun Yahya seems only to attack Darwin. It's very frustrating sitting back and reading all of this crap he is sputter about Darwin. He constantly attacks Darwin's credibility for theories. For example, Yahya says "...Or electric fish which offer serious difficulty for Darwin's theory..." Well guess what! Darwin was pioneering the idea of evolution, and was teaching himself about it. And when you are being taught, then you are learning, and when you are learning, you can have flaws. How much can you expect from someone who was a scientist in the 1800s when he didn't have the scientific tools that we have today? Darwin took a stab at a theory based almost entirely on his and others oberservations, and he was damn well close to being totally accurate and correct.
Yahya misuses quotes and uses his own opinions on the subject of bird evolution. For example, Yahyh misuses the quote from Alan Feduccia, "Well, I've studied bird skulls for 25 years and I don't see any similarities whatsoever. I just don't see it... The theropod origins of birds, in my opinion, will be the greatest embarrassment of paleontology of the 20th century." Well, go to http://www.cs.colorado.edu/...y/creation/quote_feduccia.html for an explaination on that quote. Yahya makes me so frustrated! He is gathering quotes from many diffent sources and compiling them to look like they're all related. Yahya is trying to act like Feduccia is saying birds didn't evolve from dinosaurs by using the quote "Well, I've studied bird skulls for 25 years and I don't see any similarities whatsoever. I just don't see it... " Feduccia isn't trying to say that birds did not evolve from reptiles! Yahya is just playing with quotes, a common thing that most creationists do. Yahya writes, "Another problem regarding Archaeopteryx is that the theropod dinosaurs, which many evolutionists suggest were Archaeopteryx' ancestors, actually emerge after it in the fossil record, not before it. This, of course, leaves no room for any 'evolutionary family tree' to account for the origin of birds." Hmm, interesting! Proof? Citations?
Another interesting theory of Yahya's: "There are various structural differences between birds and reptiles, one of which concerns bone structure. Due to their bulky natures, dinosaurs-the ancestors of birds according to evolutionists-had thick, solid bones. Birds, in contrast, whether living or extinct, have hollow bones that are very light, as they must be in order for flight to take place." True, bird bones are hollow, but some of ours are, too, and so were some dinosaur bones. Yes, dinosaur bones are thick. Neanderthal's bones are thicker than sapiens sapien's bones, and that's only from a 200,000 year transition. Imagine what is possible in a 166 million year transition from dinosaurs to birds.
Anyway, I'm too tired to keep on ranting and complaining.
p.s.Yahya also makes me mad by comparing evolutionists to fascists and communists and "cruel dictators."

There are at least 2 pre-existing topics pertaining to Harun Yahya. The most relevent for the above rant seems to be "Harun Yahya Coming To US", at http://EvC Forum: Harun Yahya coming to US! -->EvC Forum: Harun Yahya coming to US! .
Therefore, I'm closing this topic.
