Re: Multi-post reply capability
how about an automatic quote facility, where you highlight text you want to reply to and right click to add to reply window.
if you run this from the white reply button you have all the previous posts to draw from and the quotes could be automatically linked back to response notices.
it would also be possible to have a pull down that says "add notification to" (and have the top of the list be admin followed by the grid you get from the button at the corner
http://http://www.evcforum.net/cgi-bin/threaddisplay.cgi?number=...
and be able to check off people there.

Signatures
Some other sites limit how many characters can be used in the signature field.
parsimony comes to mind as a principle here -- if you can't say it concisely try something else.

Re: Coming soon: tables!
nor in netscape. your first one did - stick with that if you have to have it.
I would have the default be as shown in the last sample with the next level being able to chose right, centered or left justified
perhaps in the header fields? hr, hc, hl? hd for the decimal aligned? each column would be set by the header alignment?

Re: Coming soon: tables!
hm ... I distinctly remember trying it only to have the image stuck on the left side (why I went to images inside qs boxes or used indent)

Re: Coming soon: tables!
looks like I got egg on my face. must have mistyped the coding. (I like to spell align with two L's, and for some reason the coding doesn't work then ...)

Re: "Replies await"
actually it clears if you post any message on the thread. you can post a general reply and it will clear and no one else will get a "yes" in their list.
this also means that if you answer one person you no longer see if there are others you haven't answered.
I would like an "ignore this reply in the future" option and to keep seeing the "yes" message for other replies.

for writing formulas, especially chemical formulas ...
What about making it easier to do superscript and subscript text? maybe have a button on the left side of the reply window (under smiles legend) to do the formating on highlighted text? Do the same with italics and bold? (color would require a pull down menu).

Guest Logins and Posting rights
There is no list of forums where guests can post. It is pretty frustrating to keep getting the "you do not have posting rights on this forum" message without any easy way to find out where you can post a query. How about having the above message list which forums are allowed?
NOTE:
I just changed my e-mail listed under RAZD and got booted off with a notice that a new password was sent to my e-mail -- it is also missing as are all the notification ones, so I have registered a new version to use until it gets straightened out.
ps -- can you (admin) e-mail my RAZD password to RAZD8@yahoo.com?
that's all for now.

Re: Automate "Preview" function? - Catching dBCode errors (and other errors?)
you also might want to have a list of common errors
like using "{" instead of "
