What? In my thread we were playing nice. Would you rather people work problems out or ignore them completely so as to make no progress? Whatever, let me know whenever you do reopen it, as I was hoping for replies from people like Shaz who are respectful.

...and for the record how can I "get on with the damn thread" when I was waiting for somebody else to? I said what I needed to say. If you close threads because of other people around here, though, fine. Sorry for asking.

Hi Admin. I totally lost my earthquake thread after submitting it until today when I happened to find it was discussed in another suggestions thread, unbeknown to me. I would like to submit it again or recover the old one under faith and belief so as to address the input and go with the thread. What do you suggest? Thanks

umliak,The entire last page of the thread was nothing but "he said, she said" accusations and insults. I will open it today, but I want ALL parties to start over. If this can't be done, than the thread will be closed for a longer cooling off period.Mike is correct in that he is generally a very polite poster but he is letting his frustration get the better of his mood. That is no excuse.Umliak needs to realize that this is a debate forum and issues will be hotly debated from both sides. Requests for further information need to be answered. If someone does not see information as being pertinent or helpful that needs to be addressed also. This is debate...a give and take of questions, answers, and opinions. Please handle it politely.

Ok, I see what I've done. A couple of days ago I moved the "All Topics" page to my desktop to upgrade my desktop to the new setup. Since, something must have changed and every time I opened "All Topics," I was bringing up an old page. I would take a look and see nothing happening with my thread and would close it, figuring people were busy with changeover, etc.Anyhow, thanks much. I see I have my work cut out. Be patient, folks, and I'll get in some responses as I find time. Like Percy says, "take your time and post efficiently." (Not exact quote, but his message.)

That is rude to permanently close a thread after other Administrator's demanded I respond and submit to people like mikehager's posts and comments.They didn't care about the truth, only threatened removing me from the board for things I didn't do. So I don't know why you would close a thread I started when I was plainly following the rules.

I must assume the topic in question is "Proof and analysis of Biblical end time accuracey [Synnegi]". AdminAsgara's topic closing message.It seems that the topic was a terminal mess. At best, I'm uncertain that the most recent discussion there had much connection to the theme of the topic. I must support AA's decision to permanently close it.Adminnemooseus

The topic in question is Radioactive Noah shining bluish in the darkness like smurfs.I closed the topic because:1) It bypassed the "Proposed New Topics" procedure, being a "Dates and Dating" type topic in the "Coffee House" forum.2) I had doubts that it made standards to being promoted, even if it had been submitted to the "PNT" forum.I didn't think it fair, to those who submit their topics to the "PNT", to let this topic get away with "the dodge".I am leaving the topic closed pending futher discussion of the matter. After that, I suppose the topic could be given a short lifetime in the "Short (blue) Subjects" forum.Adminnemooseus

Adminnemooseus,Okay. Those are all good reasons. (And I didn't disagree with the decision to close at all...JonF just made me curious cuz I don't even know what he was trying to imply--I'll get along alright without knowing).It's just as well...I just spent 14 straight hours typing my fingers off about the difference between heat energy and kinetic energy only to learn there is no such thing as heat energy. I've got arthritis in my left hand, apparently--my knuckles and wrists are very swollen and very sore and I can barely move my left arm (probably also got a torn rotator cuff)--I need break!Thanks anyways and cheers,
