Thread: Poll on the PEH
Post: #9
The Hairy Elephantid makes a very thorough and well-referenced post calling into question the basic assumptions of the PEH. Even tho' mostly a response to criticism posted on another message board, this rebuttal/response is a good example of how to use science to oppose pseudo-science.

Thread: Media Coverage of the Evolution Controversy
Post: #10
Although I invariably read everything Percy writes as he consistently presents well-reasoned and cogent arguments on many subjects (as well as being able to clearly see the gist of a multi-page thread - trees AND forest), I never quite get around to proposing him for a POM. This particular post, however, strikes me as a brilliant dissection of the current ID controversy. It is, all by itself, worthy of being used in a science classroom as an answer to whomever might mention the "balance" or "equal time" arguments about why ID should be included in classrooms.
This post should be submitted to NCSE for inclusion on their website, IMO.
