Question....

Well I have a question, I was talking to this ultra religous chick in my history class, and she was telling me all this stuff about how evolution has been disproven and she was saying something about how lungs wouldnt be able to change or something. Well I always just believed in evolution because I dont believe in God. So to me evolution just made more sence, their was at least some evidence. Well I was thinking about it, and I was wondering how people explained the fact that certain species did not exist in prehistoric ages. Like scientist find fossils and bones that have been preserved. House cats and dogs and tons of other domesticated species and other species didnt exist in prehistoric times. How does a person who doesnt believe in evolution explain that? And what is she talking about when she says lungs cant evolve.
