Just thought I would post this for all to see!
My good buddy Phatboy greeted my quick post with the following:
quote:
How ya doin? Are you still the head of that science publication that you started? Are you in school?
--And the great TC speaketh!: Hey hey! Doing good. Technically.. yes I am still the head of that organization. Unfortunately, through 2 attempts--althought the second progressed further than the first--I was never able to establish it well enough to survive. However, I may give it another shot some time--possibly during the summer when I have more time. I am currently a freshman on the USF campus (albeit, visiting my parents for the holidays..) studying toward a BS in Geology (surprising isn't it!).
Various interests and recent events complicate my availability to do all the things I would like to do.. For instance, early this last November, I had summed up significant profits from my business and was able to buy the best toy a person could ever have!
--1100 cc's and 165 horses of madness.
--Unfortunatelly however.. Nearly inherent to the human conscience (as I should have known..indeed people had warned me about this scenario many-a-time before)..after flying down the interstate at 165 mph with 60 other bikers.. there is the subconcious tendency to get a bit over confident in handling the bike.. subconceously I was convinced I had "tamed the beast".. and a beast it was.. so then after making a U-turn and climbing from 5 to ~80 mph in approximatly 3 seconds, I had to break.. hard.. and lost traction. Took a hard spill and my new gorgeous bike, after 8 days and about 700 miles, went from looking like the above to what you see below in an instant:
--That would be me in the white quicksilver shirt, hunched over gazing at the depressing remains of $6500.
--But hey! No worries! Once a biker, always a biker. I have seen the light, and come February, the next one will be black!
--Edit--And of course.. Merry Christmas! And for those of you who believe my username to be a complete oxymoron--happy holidays, enjoy getting off work!

Well, TC you are living la vida loca in fine style! You have the brains to survive, if you don't accidently spread them over the highway! ( ! ) As you said, however..."no worries"...which is a common catchphrase for your generation! What types of things are you studying these days? You know me...the illiterate theist! I have been reading a "science novel" lately. See it in the book nook.
Seriously, Chris...don't let the illusions of eternal youth blind your common sense..we don't want survival of the fittest.
We need angelic protection for the likes of you!

would your business be graphic design? I found it somewhat unsettling to see that site in your profile, I myself am a "on the side" graphic designer in flash, photoshop, swift yada, yada, yada. I didn't like seeing the extreme influence of 2advanced studios in that website. Even the index page. Oh well.

Hi TC,
studying toward a BS in Geology
Good luck with your studies mate, and keep in touch with the board so we know how you are getting along.
Brian.

--True, that design was very much influenced by Eric Jordan's concepts. It actually began as an experimental project with 2advanced studios designs in mind, but due to various factors I decided to get the need for a portfolio site out of the way so that I could focus on other directly profitable things. I am working on a new VS design for this summer.

--Thanks. I am actually a relatively confused tripple major at the moment.
