id like to hear as many opinions on death, for not only death is viewed differently in various religions, and also is a subject of very personal reflection, but also according to science one can view death in various ways - desintegration, disperssion, mutatuion,..,..,.
this topic of forum i propose more like an investigation
and the more opinions are quoted here
the more we can debate
i hope to have time and update the topic with some examples
till then tell me what you think

You die, your corpse rots and is broken down into Biomatter, and you move on.

You die, your corpse rots and is broken down into Biomatter, and you must sat in a trial. From there onwards you get a taste of both heaven & hell according to how good you are in life.

You die, your corpse rots, and your consciousness disappears with your brain activity kind of like when you are deeply asleep, and then Christ recreates your consciousness via a new imperishable non-organic body like His own. That's what I believe happens to the elect.
All people will be revealed by the light of truth from God and shown for what they are. Some will recieve everlasting glory while some will be banished from God's presence and die eternally in the fire of the destruction of the universe (only slightly different from what the ahteist expects).
The elect will return to earth after the Tribulation and be authorities even above angels in Christ's earthly kingdom for 1000 years. Then God destroys this universe and creates a new one and "No eye has seen no ear has heard, no mind has concieved of the things God has prepared for those who love Him."

From what I believe, death is just a beginning to a new eternal life. When one dies, he or she "meets their maker".(Bono, U2)

Social Darwinism enjoyed widespread popularity in some European circles, particularly among ruling elites during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. During this period the global recession of the 1870s encouraged a view of the world which saw societies or nations in competition with one another for survival in a hostile world. This attitude encouraged increasing militarization and the division of the world into colonial spheres of influence. The interpretation of social Darwinism of the time emphasized competition between species and races rather than cooperation.

The resultant condition of life is death. (delta t = 0) The energy and matter that made up the vehicle that harbored your conciousness is recycled. The conciousness that was the observer of your reality was dependant on that vehicle. So what happens to the conciousness post biological death is a mystery. I'd like to think a small part of my life is carried through the universe in all the ways I have interacted and touched others lives. Who can say if there is one ultimate observer that actualizes the universe or not. I like to think there is a reason de entre'. It makes me feel better about life and my eventual death.

Don't know and don't care.

People, please look at the Style Guide for EvC thread by Sylas. Pay particular attention to step 3.
