Christian or not, how do you perceive the church's stand on homosexual marriage? And do you see any validity in the different arguements presented against homosexual marriage?
1. The church as you so nicely state is supposed to govern it's own...arguably this makes it difficult for one who has been raised within the church and at a certain age (usually when there is a low risk of parents beating one to death) decide's that this is not a group for them....subsequently I think this is what chruches are trying to fight against is "losses to the other side".
2. This makes your second question moot...the strongest case against homosexuality is religion....everything else that is attempted to corner homosexuals into some societal risk corner and therefore to be legislated against is either blatantly untrue, or applies to heterosexuals as well.
Since there are 62 posts I am probably mirroring many peoples' views, so disregard as you see fit.
