Hi guys, my friend Andrew Jones forwarded this information to me about giants.
www.stevequayle.com
Probably about the most credible site you'll ever see on the net regarding giants.
Here's his quote:

A friend, Weiland Henry, (he helped organize the 1st Ron Wyatt meeting in Sacramento with me) came over tonight and showed us this book he bought which is the web site printed (with fewer photos than what the web site has) but it has some interesting photos! Anyone every see this stuff? www.stevequayle.com
I found this part interesting on the Middle East because of the Cave of the Giants:

Amorites
The Amorites, probably the most numerous people in Canaan at the time of Israel's invasion, were near giants in both stature and strength. Their hugeness is confirmed by these words that the prophet Amos later wrote: "Thus says the Lord, '... It was I who destroyed the Amorite before them, though his height was like the height of cedars and he was strong as the oaks.'"25 (See Israel's Wars with the Giants; Sihon's and Og's Overthrow)
Then this quote from www.stevequayle.com:
Clearly, then, at the time of Israel's invasion, the Anakim, Awim, and Rephaim occupied all parts of God's land. And closely allied with them were their near-giant cousins, the Amorites.106 So it appears that in their many combats for possession of the land the Hebrews encountered many warriors of much greater height and bulk. Besides these, they also had to fight the militant Hivites, Hittites, Girgashites, Jebusites, Perizzites, and Canaanites. Because of interbreeding, the latter peoples no doubt included some giants in their ranks. But for the most part they stood about the size of the Israelites.
Even the brutal Amorites appear to have once been a people of normal stature. After they settled in Canaan early in the third millennium B.C., however, they evidently interbred with the Rephaim and Anakim, for Amos later described them as reaching the "height of cedars."107 Following its study of the social contacts between these two early Canaanite peoples, The Universal Jewish Encyclopedia suggested such a link. "The real Anakim," it declares, "may perhaps be identified with the Amorites, by whom they may have been ab-sorbed."108
The Amorites of course inhabited the area of Ein gedi too. Anyone hear of this guy name Stephen Quayle?

I just thought that seeing the subject of giants has come up before in this forum, it wouldn't hurt to share this information. I thought it was interesting so I decided to pass the word along.

This appears to be saying, "Here's a guy with interesting things to say about giants in the ancient Middle East. Anyone ever hear of him?"
To begin a discussion I think you need to state where you stand on the issue and why.
