Bit rich that isn't it? Considering you've misquoted him and got what he said totally wrong.
Maybe we should start calling you an idiot? Would that be fair behaviour?

If feel a need for justice then you should think about DOING something about it. Joining Amnesty International might be a good start.
Demanding that people pay lip-service to your beliefs doesn't do anything to right injustice. It just makes you feel less bad about it. That is just selfishness.

I'm about to step away from evc for a little while.
I think I have been hurting more ppl than helping.
My message is righteous but the way I have been presenting isn't,
you can reply to me,
I'll get back to you.
I'm going to leave for a long time though.
I believe in what I wrote but it is not helping you guys because your set in your opinions.
That's okay.
I apologize to Dan Carrol.

This need of justice for bad lives is evidence for a God.
You have to conciously remember to breathe in & out, don't you?

Which is it ?
People get what they deserve ?
Or do some people experience pain which they do not deserve ?
You can't have it both ways.

Actually, both things often happen to people.
1) What comes around goes around. The Law of sowing and reaping.
2) The Godly in Christ will suffer persecution. They don't always deserve it!

Well I hope that you didn't mean to imply that non-christians deserve everything they get coming to them.
And I really suggest that you consider the context - there's no point in saying that SOMETIMES people get what they deserve.

If this was teenager angst i might be arguing about going to school or going to a party or something.
That's not teenage angst.
My personal opinion is that you are trying to take in a bigger world than you can handle. It can be overwhelming.
I'm a sensitive person and as a teenager the world events were very overwhelming. I had to trim the world to a size I could handle. I do the same thing today when I try to take in too much.
As we mature emotionally and spiritually we can handle more.

My addiction got the better of me, I'm glad it did though.
People get what they deserve in heaven.
People don't deserve pain but they get in anyway.

Judging by your posts you probably aren't one of them.
You just proved his point. You're arrogant. Even at the height of my teenage arrogance years, I was not as arrogant as you seem to be.
Good luck with your life living as a narcissist. I'm willing to bet your reply will be that I'm ignorant, that I have no wisdom and that you are the only one that can see things in a special perspective or some crap like that. Unlike others, I have no patience for narcissists like you.

peace out guys
I'm gone for good after this post. I might occassionaly-sic- glance in but I have no intention of being an active member. I decided it's not a good environment when ppl have mindsets that aren't envied.
The world isn't overwhelming. It is what it is. I won't make my worldview smaller:
quote:
I had to trim the world to a size I could handle
I take it for what it is and learn from it. This may be a common problem for some but not me.
I became greatly discouraged when board members thought it is appropiate to judge someone on their age and not on their words.
That may be a character flaw.
For all of you truth seekers, I hope you find it soon.
I've misread posts and have said mean things. I think both of these things are do at my own faault and have nothingto do with the medication I'm on.
I'd like to offer a final apology to Dan Carrol, what I thought you said you didn't say.
Purpledawn I don't believe you have any idea on what's overwhelming for me. You may be older but you have no idea. I've reached planes of thought you may never reach (you may have but I couldn't tell). I don't believe in modifying the world. I look at it as this God displayed it for me. I'm not good at relayng points on type. I'm a better orator but I chose to join these dicussions.
I also came to realize that even with my long hisory at evc, (longer than this account says) I havent been able to make many friends here. And I can't say if many of you saw me in real life you'd smile.
I respected holmes, I respected what he had to say.
Sorry lam that we never really became friends.
I like Percy too.
The reason to why I am leaving is clear:
I've never had a productive conversation here in a long time.
thank you phatboy
I'd like to thank Phatboy for being a true friend. Even if we've never met in real life we've become great friends. Thanks for everything you've done for me.
cya for now
