I'd say so-so.
The good:
- Freeman fits well into Arthur Dent
- Earth destruction scene
- Visuals
- How they portray the Guide
- Lines from the book included
- Vogons
- Slartibartfast
- Did I already say the visuals?
- Zooey Deschanel
The bad:
- The whole Humma Kavula angle (WTF is that character doing there?)
- Zaphod not cool enough. Annoying yes, cool no.
- The cheesy love story, so not DNA
- The
NOKIA phone
I don't remember reading about Arthur Dent's
NOKIA phone?
- The last line of the film which you know is wrong if you have read The Restaurant at the End of the Universe
If I am a reviewer, I'll give it a 6/10.
