It's relevant to the constancy of decay rates. Rapid changes in the value of nuclear force constants would have affected the rate of reaction, and thus the forms of contact metamorphism. And there are more precise, and more technical, calculations to further check.
Unfortunately most of the Oklo hills have been stripmined but I think a few are included in a scientific preserve.
