Re: An interesting question.
Yup. That's the Catoctin Mountains area and many a day I wandered all over them. Once when we were squirrel hunting up there a solder approached us and asked how we were doing. We talked awhile and lied about how many squirrels we had seen and he strongly urged us to head back north since we were on government property and "Shooting Squirrels on Government Property was against the law".

Well the fort is the Key to America's existence if that's not a big enough hint.
And the 'UFO' thingie should be easy based on what's nearby.

'Tis Camden Yards. Which is where the ball park got its name. It's the biggest enclosed roundhouse ever built and really one of the wonders of the world. As I kid I got to sit in the cab of many an Allegheny, the most powerful, heaviest steam locomotives ever built, while they were turned around. Even got to drive one off and back out into the yard once.

Re: Yet another of my favorite haunts while growing up.
That it is. And the folk on your side of the pond are very familar with it. LOL
When I was growing up it was in pretty run down shape. Sometimes we'd go out there at night and the Dads would tell us ghost stories.
What a wonderful place for ghost stories.
The children huddled together in fear,
as the old man
told tales of ghosts.
And deep,
within their wide eyes
I saw a smile
sparkle.

Oops! Wrong war. Ft. McHenry actually was significant during the Stupid War, the War of 1812. That's when you guys were nice enough to teach us about urban renewal.

Slightly OT ...
but the War of 1812 was fascinating. Classic stupidity on all sides. The big issue on this side was that you mean folk were impressing our sailors. But two weeks before the US declared war on GB (the mouse that roared) Parliment passed an act outlawing the passage. When war was declared the ships carrying the news were met by US vessels and told to diverted to Canada and Bermuda.
So... on with the War!

Yup. I worked for Sea Pines and Charlie and Joe Fraser developing HHI and many of the later projects. He was one of the realy unique people I've been lucky enough to have known and totally changed the way folk viewed development. It wasn't a bad place to live either.
