Ned, I just saw this, but may not be able time-wise to jump in for awhile.
I would ask anyone interested to honestly ask themselves how Neanderthals were presented to them. Were they presented as subhuman, or as just people?
Maybe later we can discuss whether Neanderthal skulls have been put together wrongly due to assuming they should be more ape-like. I think the post detailing the x-ray comparisions of the child Neanderthal skulls with the plaster casts they supposedly represented the skulls was informative.
