I'm just a big oinker!
I'm so stupid that I thinks
Registering's just for dinks,
So everyone posts as the doinker.

Moderators,
I think this is a good case against allowing unregistered users to post. I also think it is a case for IP-blocking.

--I don't think anyone has to research to counter the assertions in your posts...There is something that you should realise, this is a forum, a relatively serious forum at that. Sure we like to 'casualize' things at times, though there is an exchange in ideas here which are posted with a concerned mind attempting to expand their intellect & grasp the objective world and understand the mechanics of the universe & every little thing in it. Give it a try, it may be tough for a guy such as yourself, but its fully encouraged.
"im not a teen im 46...i dont use big words not used daily in normal conversation..i think these post are just what some of you need.."Hey lookie me i wrote some big ole words that no one else can understand and that makes me feel big!" That is how i see the rest of you who post fancy stuff.. yeah..stuff...."
--We post thems bit ole fancy shmancy jargon for clarification. For instance, when your talking about plate tectonics, your not going to refer to the plates as 'thems flat thingies that be flying round da big blue orange' or something like that... We don't think were 'all big n' stuff!', but we do think that were attempting to understand a process or help another understand it.
"you may have the brain power to post fancy words and all, but you lack in FAITH to believe even in the simple things.. didnt your momma ever tell you ,, just believe...because thats the way it is...."
--You should read my last post, the two verses I supplied are perfect at this time:
-Prov. 18:2, 'A fool does not delight in understanding, but only in revealing his own opinion.'
-Prov. 14:15, 'The simple believes every word, but the man of insight makes sure where he is going'.
--Both of them apply directly to your attitude here.
"i got a dog smarter than all of you..lol you all make me laugh... and i hope you post to me lots of stuff.. cause im bored , and i need attention lol.. oopss i just gave your weak minds something to post about..FLAME ON GOOF BALLS! i can take it , and i can dish it out.. bRING it ON..hahahaha
doinker...i got the brains of a snail.. but i can cross water by the wind. what can you do. lol "
--Please just consider what were trying to tell you. If you can at least do this, I may not consider posting to you a couple times as a complete waist of time. And yes, I am a 'person of faith' & consider myself born again as a Christian.

?????? You think someone isn't smart because they don't accept things on faith?
And for the record, I am smart enough not to believe in something because someone tells me to. Are you?

He (Jesus) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. (1 Colossians 1:15-17)

First, let me clarify that I posted that verse to answer the question, "Where in the Bible does it say that Jesus may have created a cow?"
Second, let me clarify your question. "Then" refers to what time period? Don't want to go off on a ramble

Um, lots of us actually use "big words" in normal conversation.

Maybe you might have studied a little harder in school, or now, and then you would understand "big words".
"Big words" generally allow for a greater range of expression in communication, which is why we use them.
We also like to use capital letters, puncuation, and good sentence and paragraph structure. These are also aids to good communication.
Perhaps a little work on your grammar is in order as well?

I wonder if I can use this guy to refute PB's assertions? After all, a better example of inbreeding depression in the wild I've never encountered...

It was a joke, sort-of. I owed you one. However it illustrates a theological problem. Assuming the god of the OT, he is and has always been invisible, yes? Then we get to the NT and suddenly have an 'image' of the invisible. That is a bit weird. An image of the invisible ought to be invisible. Really, it is a subset of the problems created by the doctrine of the trinity.

Not really. I think you're making a mountain out of a molehill here. The whole manner in which Jesus is the image of the invisible God is that He is God made visible, a theme reinforced throughout the NT epistles. It's fair to say that in religious writings words do not necessarily have the clinical and precise scientific meanings we might attach to them.

You missed the last sentence where I said that it is a subset of the problems caused by the doctrine of the trinity. Many philosophers and theologians have tussled over that one.
