Re: Sinner saved by Grace
Does your faith rest on the law or on grace?
Are you Jew?
Are you Gentile?
Your post reveals how little you actually understand the scriptures.
You speak as one of the Pharisees or Sadducees whom Christ referred to as "Vipers".
MT 12:33 "Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. 34 You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.
Do you justify yourself by yourself?
Jhn 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, [but] grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
Rom 4:16 Therefore [it is] of faith, that [it might be] by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
Rom 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Rom 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness [come] by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Where does the heart lead? Unto truth in God or unto the vain teachings of men?
Gal 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
Act 7:51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers [did], so [do] ye.
I fear that in your case it may be the latter. I do not know. Gods knows and judges each man accordingly.

mine on grace. where does your's rest, that you demand others follow the law when you can't follow it yourself?
Your post reveals how little you actually understand the scriptures.
come back to me when you can read my signature, and explain to me why it's funny.

Language
Sorry, I don't do games. However, feel free to enlighten those of us who admit ignorance when it comes to the foreign languages. Perhaps you should do so in a more appropriate forum though.

Re: Language
if i explained it, it wouldn't be funny anymore.
but let's start here: do you even know what language that is?
Sorry, I don't do games.
and you most certainly do.

Finally there'sa Christian organization calling for Progress
and not one calling for more repression.
Christian Alliance for Progress
Please take a look if you'd like to try to take Christianity back from the Christian Right.
It's time for Christians to stand up and show they do not support Bigotry.
It's time for Christians to stand up and say they do not support robbing the poor to please the rich.
It's time for Christians to stand up and show they do not support raping the environment.
It's time for Christians to stand up and show they do support the right of every woman to privacy.
It's time for Christians to stand up and show they do support the just use of power.
It's time for Christians to support adequate health care for Every Person.

topic? what topic? i don't see any -- oh.
It's time for Christians to stand up and show they do not support Bigotry.
but, apparently jar, jesus was a bigot. here i was deluded the whole time thinking he was such a swell guy who only said nice things about loving everyone and having compassion and such. jeeze, i can't believe i actually thought he meant all that stuff enough to actually DIE for me to prove it.
wherever did i go wrong jar?
and here i go being a hyprocrit, judging those who judge others as "bigots" and "hypocrits." what was i thinking?

This has turned into a debate.
Links & Information is for posting links of interest, not debating those links. I apologize to all for being drawn inappropriately into a debate.
