Evolution of Poison

Hello all.First time posting here. I have been studying creation/evolution for about 9 months now. On the web and by reading various books.Now to my question. I did some searching on here and have not been able to find how organisms evolved poison. There are different species with poison and different types of poison. From snakes, bees wasp, spiders, jellyfish and platypus to name a few. Poisons that effect respiratory, nervous or flesh eating. Welcome to EvCforum. This is a great question, but it incorporates two very different ideas. I suggest you pop over to Coffee House and introduce yourself to the gang. Tell us your background there, and edit this post to focus on the poison topic.The poison topic is hard science and will turn up some good technical discussion. I'll be happy to promote it.The matter of biblical exegesis is another interesting subject. Sorry was not meaning to discuss my interpretation of the bible in this thread. Was basically introducing myself and giving very tiny background on my beliefs. The main topic of this thread was intended to question how poison evolved in many different species. I will edit my original to that basic point. And do an intro in the Coffee house as you have suggested. Thank you
