Re: the truth hurts
Are you saying that only naturalistic explanations can be true and valid?
Only Naturalistic explanations can be tested, verified, used or known. The supernatural explanation might well be true, but so what? It is useless.

Re: the truth hurts
As a belief, certainly. As a guideline for behavior, certainly. As fact, none.

Re: Let's vote on the facts?
Or you can look at some of the work on AIG or ICR.
Looked at their sites. More requests for suckers to send money than scientific research.
AbE:
And ZERO independant replication or peer rebiew at either.

Re: Let's vote on the facts?
When there is independant replication and peer review you might get an acknowledgement but to call most of those scientific is simply laughable.

Native American belief systems
Many of the Native American belief systems were far more Christian in nature than the beliefs of the Christian Europeans that supplanted them. It's long be interesting to me to read the recorded saying and writings of those folk. The Native Americans soon gained a full and complete understanding of the Christian Religion and one constant theme is that they clearly saw the disconnect between what the Europeans were teaching and their actions.
