As you probably noticed, my resignation lasted about a week.
Reasons I decided I wanted "Moderator" status back:
1) So I could do editing functions such as fixing coding errors, overlong URL's, and other bad message formatting.
2) So that I has posting privileges in the "Private Administration Forum".
I had intended to be very low profile. But of course, once I had "Moderator" status again, I was doomed to get sucked back into other admin chores, including the Contracycle business. Still, I have tried to minimize my "admining".
By the way, Contracycle has decided to totally withdraw from . While the position he was taking might have had considerable merit, the practical reality was that he needed to compromise his ideals and try to leave certain problems in the past. For better or worse, this was something he was unwilling to do.
The bottom line of it all is that I have been blowing way too much time on the internet, with much of that being related. As of the end of the month I expect all that to change - I am planning on discontinuing my ISP. No more at home internet - My internet activity will be restricted to using a friends ISP. My active e-mail address will be my currently unused Yahoo account.
Or something like that.
